The primary adjustments for Mai are across her special moves overall. The largest changes are to the Hold/OD version of Kachousen and the Light Ryuenbu adjustment.Summary

Kachousen (hold/OD) had its stagger time on hit/guard of the falling part reduced. This weakens the strong pressure and rush-cancel sequences that used the falling part. The SA1 enhancement version is intended to partially compensate for this, so landing SA1 is now more important than before.
To prevent mid-range dominance from becoming too weak after the Kachousen nerf, Light Ryuenbu's effectiveness as a poke has been increased. Each special move's individual role has been clarified to change the balance of moves used in neutral.
